St John’s Church is a Grade II* listed building dating from 1826. It is the only church designed by the architect Francis Edwards – the foremost pupil of St John Soane. English Heritage describe it as ‘architecturally and aesthetically the most significant building in Hoxton’.
It is a vibrant and busy church with lots of different activities every day of the week, but there are parts of the church available for hire for your special event.
To make a booking enquiry, please email the Building & Premises Manager, Bryn Dye.
NB: We don’t hire out the space for parties except for regular members of our congregation. Please try the local community halls via Hackney Council for party venues.
