Youth Work Apprentice Opportunity

 There is an opportunity for someone to join our Youth Ministry team here at St John’s Hoxton for a three-year fully funded apprenticeship. The apprentice will train part-time for a nationally recognised youth work qualification, as well as for a Diploma in Theology & Youth Ministry. They will also work part-time for the three years at St John’s Hoxton: a multicultural, multigenerational Church in the heart of Hoxton. Our passion is for you to further develop and discover more about yourself, your passions and gifting, in the context of serving in the local church.Practical MinistryThe intern will join the day-to-day running of the Youth Ministry at St John’s. You will work alongside the full0-time Youth Minister, and help with areas of admin, media, leading sessions, giving short talks, evangelism in the local area, and much more. This programme presents an ideal opportunity to explore ministry gifting and exploring.Personal DevelopmentThis internship programme is designed to empower and develop the leadership potential of individual. The Bishop of London’s Mission Fund Apprentice Scheme for youth workers in the Diocese of London will offer the intern the opportunity to study for formal qualifications in youth work and theology.The apprenticeship is funded for three-years at the London Living Wage (35 hours per week).To enquire further or make an application, please email our Youth Minister
