Digital Inclusion: Laptops Available

Around 18 months ago we worked with Hackney & Islington Citizens on the ‘Shoreditch 300’ campaign - an action aiming to get 300 devices (laptops / tablets / smartphones) into the hands of people in our neighbourhood who experienced the digital divide during the Covid lockdowns. You can read about the campaign here and here.

Following on from this successful action, we were delighted to receive a donation of laptops from an insurance company. These have been refurbished, and have had a simple operating system installed so that users can access the internet and use gmail and Google services.

They’re available for any household in need of additional or better devices to enable them to:

  1. access home learning and complete online schoolwork,

  2. overcome social isolation,

  3. continue adult learning and apply for jobs.

If you would like to be considered for one of these laptops, please complete the application form by clicking the button below.
