Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. It seeks to protect the safety, dignity and wellbeing of all people as those made in the image of God. It has special concern for those less able to advocate for themselves, in particular children, young people under 18 and adults at risk.

ON DISCOVERY OR SUSPICION OF A FIRE:

1. Press alarm button at nearest available exit.

2. Attack the fire using available equipment only if you have been trained to do so.

3. Evacuate the building by the nearest available exit

4. Proceed to the assembly point indicated at: THE CHURCH GARDENS PLAYGROUND

5. Call 999 and request assistance from the fire service.

6. Do not re-enter the building until it is declared safe to do so by an authorised officer.

ON HEARING AN ALARM:

1. Evacuate the building by the nearest available exit

In the event of an accident of injury, please use the First Aid kits provided in accordance with any training or experience you have.

Several of the church ministry team are trained in First Aid provision - they include: Doreen Tang, Renatha Hoga, Sara Hunter.

In the event of a serious accident or injury, please call 999 and request support from the emergency services. The postcode of the church is N1 6NP.

After responding to an accident or injury, please complete an Accident Report Form so that we can replenish First Aid kit supplies and try to avoid future accidents.
